In a collaboration sure to rock the arena, King Solomon’s Casino, one of the world’s largest online gaming destinations, today announced a sponsorship agreement with Ultimate Fighting Championship’s Triple-Crown winner Dan “The Beast” Severn. The in-your-face campaign — a literal fact of life for Severn’s opponents — commences next month at the King of the Cage: Sudden Impact fighting championship, and will feature the URL of King Solomon’s Casino (www.kscasino.com) on the fists and back of the sport’s most feared fighter.
“Our sponsorship of Dan Severn marks a new era in the marketing activities of King Solomon’s Casino and is a direct result of our growth as well as our continued efforts to reward our customers with one-of-a-kind incentives,” said Dominic Mansour, marketing consultant for King Solomon’s Casino. “The pugilistic arts have a long association with the gaming world and we feel this promotion will be an ideal vehicle with which to create a memorable impression with our audience.”
As part of a larger overarching campaign, King Solomon’s will also be giving away VIP tickets to the closed-fist, full-contact event. Two lucky winners will receive ring-side seats, round-trip airfare and a three-night stay in a five-star hotel to watch Dan Severn compete live in the no-holds-barred tournament. King Solomon’s players and guests can enter the giveaway for free on the casino’s home page located at www.kscasino.com.
King of the Cage: Sudden Impact will be held on November 1 at the Silver Legacy Resort Casino in Reno, Nevada. The event will be carried live on pay-per-view starting at 9:00 PM EST, and also available via DirecTV, The Dish Network, TVN, Bell Express Vu, and Viewer’s Choice.
King Neptune’s Poker Champ Reveals Strategy
KAHNAWAKE, Canada — Marjorie G.’s 30 years of poker experience paid off this fall when she hit four poker jackpots at King Neptune’s Casino in just six weeks.
Marjorie’s winning streak started when she hit a $10,000 Joker Poker jackpot on September 12. She then went on to hit two $25,000 Joker IDN Slot Poker jackpots on September 14 and 15 and a $20,000 Aces & Faces jackpot on October 21.
Some may call Marjorie’s success an incredible bout of luck. Poker is a game of skill however, and Marjorie has some tips for would-be poker champs.
“Do not go for an inside straight,” she says. “Only hold three or four cards for a royal and only get rid of any pair or a winning pair if you have four cards for a royal. They run in streaks.”
Marjorie, a small business owner, also advocates responsible spending and knowing when to stop.
“Limit yourself to a certain amount of money,” she says. “If I win a little, I increase my bids. Don’t play and play if you are losing. Quit for a while and come back to it.”
Marjorie says that she always plays at a certain pace. “I always put the speed on slow and play with that same rhythm.”
Marjorie’s amazing poker skills have won her a total of $80,000 in recent weeks. She plans to give some of her winnings to her sons and put the rest of the money away for a rainy day.
“I might take that cruise or European vacation on a whim,” she says. “Now I can afford it.”
